WHITE, Charles Louis, Captain (Ret’d), Logistics

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Charles Louis White, age 83, on Sunday September 6, 2020 at the Northside General Hospital, North Sydney.  Charles is survived by his daughter, Patricia Stock, Hawaii; son, Ronald White, Vancouver; grandchildren, Tanya, Vanessa, Michael and Daniel; great-grandchildren, Marley, Asa, and Morgan.

He served with the Canadian Armed Forces from 1953-1993, at various bases throughout Canada and in Germany with the 4 Service Battalion.  He served as the Senior Sup Tech at CFB Petawawa and was subsequently commissioned in 1988.

Charles was very active in community affairs and was a member of Royal Canadian Legion, Branch #12 in Sydney.

No visitation will be held.  Funeral arrangements are incomplete at this time and will be announced by the W.J. Dooley Funeral Home, 107 Pleasant Street, North Sydney. Online condolences may be sent to the family at www.wjdooley.com
