BERNARD David, WO (Ret’d), RCOC

David passed away peacefully October 15, 2017 in his 87th year at the Perley Rideau Veterans’ Health Centre, Ottawa. Born in Jacquet River, NB he left home in 1947 to join the Canadian Armed Forces. He originally joined the Militia; he then joined the Regular Force, the 1st Canadian Infantry Battalion. In 1957 he transferred to the Royal Canadian Ordnance Corps. After a long and distinguished career in the military, he joined the public service for another 13 years of service to Canada.

Left to mourn are his children Ron (Christian), Wanda (Dave) and Howard; he is also survived by his partner Irene as well as many nieces, nephews grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
